Every time I’d feel ’sick’ when I was younger, my dad would say “it’s all in your mind.” Little did he know the ‘truth’ behind his comment.  We’ve all heard those urban legends of the mom picking up a car off a baby or seen David Blaine hold his breath for over 15 minutes.  But the question is: can ‘we’ all do those things?  Are ’super-powers’ some form of  untapped innate programming that we have yet to embrace as reality?  If this does in fact exist, can we all learn how to harness these powers to our benefit, in particular healing.  Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s the sub-headline: Tens of thousands of American adults die each year from pneumonia, influenza and other infectious diseases that could be prevented by routine vaccinations, according to a report released Thursday Source: http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6133HO20100204

First of all this article does not present two sides to the issue: the benefits vs. the cost.  They tell you how many people die because of an infection and that it could have been prevented through vaccination, but they don’t tell you how many people died regardless of the vaccines (not because of the vaccines, rather they got the vaccine and still died of the infection).  Read the rest of this entry »
