Hmmm…what do I say about this? I don’t know. Ummm. Maybee…
Yes ladies and gentleman our society is actually losing the proper cognitive abilities to function at optimum levels (you can search through the presidential archives of some - if not all - of his speeches for more evidence). There’s a plausible reason for this. This video shows just one of the reasons.

An amazing experiment with Artificial Sweeteners

Filed under: Artificial Sweetners — AKdocmike @ 12:49 pm

We all have heard about the dangers of artificial sweeteners and were told to avoid them as much as possible.  But we don’t really get the whole picture until we get to “see” the picture of its side effects.  A lady by the name of Victoria Inness-Brown conducted this experiment on rats.  She said her reason for conducting the experiment was that her family was literally addicted to diet sodas.

So here’s what she did:
She took a total of 108 rats (experimental group of 30 males, 30 females - control group 24 males, 24 females)
The experimental group was given 2 packets of NutraSweet per 8 ounces of water for a duration of 2 years 8 months

Here’s what happened:

You can read more about her experiment at the link below.  It’s fascinating that the FDA even approved Aspartame!

What a shocker!!! Sugar substitutes contributes to weight gain

Filed under: Artificial Sweetners — AKdocmike @ 6:37 pm

We’ve been duped into thinking that sugar substitutes will help those who have blood sugar handling problems (metabolic syndrome & type 2 diabetes). A study in Behavioral Neuroscience found that those who consumed artificial sweeteners, with the intent to lose or control weight, actually gained weight.

Not to mention the chemical toxicity you face with the ingestion of artificial sweeteners. Remember…if you don’t want to be artificial, don’t eat anything that’s artificial!
